Why Are We Stuck on Repeat?
First up, let’s get really honest. If you’ve asked yourself, “Why is nothing changing, even though I WANT it to?”—the answer usually isn’t a lack of desire, effort, or clear goals. It’s all about your subconscious mind.
Your subconscious is the driving force behind your behavior and outcomes. Even with the best conscious intentions, if your subconscious isn’t on board, you’ll experience cycles of self-sabotage. That’s why you keep reliving a version of your life you aren’t excited about.
The Power of Intention—From Enoughness, Not Lack
Many of us start our growth journey from a place of “I need to change because I’m not enough.” But as I shared in the episode, this negative intention never leads anywhere good. Instead, what if you came from a place of expansion? Imagine approaching your goals with the attitude, “I’m already enough, and I want to grow because I love myself.”
This shift is huge! Positive self-talk and self-celebration motivate you to take aligned action, while negativity makes growth feel like punishment.
Pro tip: Before you set goals, ask yourself, What can I celebrate about myself right now? Moving into goal-setting from celebration fuels meaningful change.
Scarcity vs. Abundance: Where Is Your Mindset?
Nothing good comes from scarcity. Where your attention flows, energy grows. Focusing on what’s wrong or on lack will only create more of the same. Instead, set off into the new year with abundant energy—celebrate what’s working and envision what you’d love to expand.
If thinking about your goals fills you with tension or dread, they’re rooted in scarcity. If your body feels excited and energized, you’re operating from abundance. That’s a key indicator—check in with yourself before forging ahead.
Subconscious Programming: The True Gatekeeper
So, why can’t you manifest what you want, even with a positive mindset? It goes deeper: your subconscious needs to feel SAFE and think your vision is POSSIBLE.
Most people are programmed for their old realities, thanks to childhood experiences, family beliefs, or past trauma. That unconscious programming tells your mind what’s safe—often out of fear or lack. For instance, many people struggle with abundance because they don’t feel worthy of it, are scared they’ll lose it, or have inherited limiting beliefs from parents.
Similarly, those burned in relationships might sabotage new love, even though they consciously want it to work. That’s subconscious fear at play.
How Do You Break the Cycle?
Here’s what I urge you to do:
- Identify the Programming. Ask yourself: What experiences shaped my beliefs? What messages did I hear growing up?
- Go Deep—Not Just Surface-Level Reflection. These fears and patterns are subconscious. Tools like hypnotherapy and meditation can help you access these deep layers.
- Rewire for Safety & Possibility. Your subconscious needs to believe it’s safe for you to have the things you desire. Practice releasing old programming, embrace new beliefs, and visualize your desired outcomes often.
- Choose Abundance TODAY. Remember, your past doesn’t dictate your future unless you let it. You can rewrite your story starting now.
